Early Intervention
Carewhizz Hulimavu offers Early Intervention for babies and young children up to 6 years who are showing signs of developmental delay. Our centre on Bannerghatta Road, Bangalore brings speech, occupational and Behavioural Therapy together so your child gets help early, when it matters most. For general guidance, see the WHO overview of child health.

Understanding
The first years of life are when a child's brain is most responsive to learning. Starting therapy early for delays in speech, movement, play or social skills can ease later difficulties and give your child a stronger start at school.
At Carewhizz Hulimavu, we assess your child's development, set small achievable goals, and teach you simple ways to practise during daily routines such as meals, bath time and play. Sessions are short, playful and led by therapists who specialise in young children.
What we cover
Our Hulimavu Child Therapy centre offers:
For children with speech delays, language difficulties, autism communication challenges, stuttering, and feeding difficulties. Our SLPs use play-based, evidence-based approaches tailored to each child's communication profile.
Helping children with sensory processing difficulties, fine motor delays, handwriting challenges, ADHD, and self-care skills. We use Sensory Integration Therapy, Handwriting Without Tears, and DIR/Floortime among other evidence-based approaches.
Supporting children with motor delays, cerebral palsy, muscular conditions, and orthopaedic issues. Our paediatric physiotherapists focus on building strength, coordination, and mobility in a fun, motivating environment.
Evidence-based behavioural intervention for children with autism spectrum disorder, focusing on building communication, social, daily living, and academic skills while reducing behaviours that interfere with learning.
Support for children experiencing anxiety, emotional regulation difficulties, social challenges, trauma, or adjustment difficulties. Our psychologists use child-friendly therapeutic approaches including play therapy and CBT.
Intensive, structured therapy for children from birth to 6 years who show signs of developmental delay or neurodevelopmental conditions. Early Intervention produces the best long-term outcomes — the sooner therapy begins, the more effective it is.

Children develop at different speeds, but it is worth an assessment if your child:
Is not babbling, pointing or using first words when expected for their age.
Is late to sit, crawl, walk or has stiff or very floppy movements.
Has trouble feeding, chewing or accepting different foods.
Seems unaware of sounds, or does not look at faces or respond to their name.
Has lost a skill they previously had, or you simply feel something is not right.
Trust your instincts. An early check costs little and can save months of worry.

Early intervention is for babies and children up to 6 years who show signs of developmental delay.
Late sitting, walking or first words, limited eye contact or response to name, feeding difficulties, or loss of skills a child previously had.
The early years are when children learn fastest, so support started early can make later challenges easier.
